Piecing a Quilt

I am taking a Quilting class. I bought my sewing machine 3 days before class.  This is what I have achieved so far.

It will make more sense when I get the rest of the fabric around it.  I am pretty proud of this though and I really really enjoy it! This patter is called Rail Fence.  I have ripped a lot of seams and messed up on four of my blocks.  Can you pick out the mistake in this picture?

And then there were Four

None disapeared just the opposite... I let Eric name ONE foster dog and he falls in love with a LAB mix.  UGH!  Ok, labs are not my favorite, but this guy is kinda loveable after you get over the snoring, itchy, and nibbling on himself.  You have already met him as the cone head dog.  Now here is Dante Brnak... not official but soon to be.

That face fits right in with us doesn't it?

When Buster realized that our mood had changed and that we were planning on keeping Dante for good, this is where he ended up at.  He stayed here for a couple days and has finally come around to .....

...being bored with the situation.  What's another dog.  I still get belly rubs and food.  That's all I really need anyways.

Wow, no room for me I guess... it's a good thing Eric and I hardly every sleep at the same time, we wouldn't all fit.  Dante LOVES the bed and the big blue chair.

I don't care that he ruins it, the chair that is or that any of the dogs ruin it. It was $10 off craigslist.

Not sure exactly why Juliet thought it would be appropriate to eat Dante's nose.

I was trying to get a glimpse of his forked black tongue. It's pretty cool.
I like him ok, but he's Eric's pick and not my favorite by far.  He fits in well with wanting love all the time and sleeping a lot.  He is 3 years old which is a good age.  I do have to admit he is cute.
The camera does not due this cute girl justice. Had to add Juliet cuteness at the end.
Welcome, Dante.  You know you will be loved!!!

I Back the Pack.

So when they came to Arizona I had to see them!  I got tickets to the Cardinals/Packers game on the 3rd of January and along with 3 other Sconies headed to the stadium.  Surprisingly we were not the only packer backers in the crowd.

Crochet... I think it was invented during the Wisconsin winters. Perfect example above

These two Gems were the pregame show.  St. Vince and cheesehooker.

Michelle and I both grew up in WI so we are no stranger to the strange and the beer drinking good times had at football games.  Any games that is, not just the Packer games, HS games too.

We sucked at the bean bag toss and the girl wearing the blue jersey was one of many giving out prizes to those who sucked.  There fore we won a cap a football and a shirt.  I was just confused why the girls in blue were first, in blue and second, all had read Dorothy heels on.

Our one, drunk, Cardinal fan.  He got separated from the rest of the flock and was trying to call them back.

Oh wait, there was a game being played and since the Cardinals pussed out on this one we beat their asses, hard.  The next Sunday they beat our asses, not so hard.  By they way we would have had a much better chance against New Orleans.

Michelle and I again. A few beers in.

This is what Seth had to say about that.

Girls from Sconie!

This definitely reminded me of home.  Not only have I worn a hat like that, I wore it while deer hunting.  Yes folks, I have shot deer and worn blaze orange while doing it.  For safety you know.

Toward the end of the game we snuck down closer to the field and I got a good shot of the game.  This was my second Packer game and I thoroughly enjoyed myself.  Once a Packer always a Packer.  Sorry AZ.
